On a quite stormy day, I visited Belen in New Mexico, which is a small town near Albuquerque, NM. It's importance is due to the fact that the only large yard on BNSF's Southern Transcontinental Line, where east- and westbounds can be maintained and refueled, is located here. Peak days see 100 or more trains, which makes this a great location for railfanning. The video features also the NMRX Rail Runner. Its south terminal station is located just north of the yard.
