One of my best personal recipes after multiple trial and errors.
Ingredients needed:
Self raising flour - 250g
Milk - 100ml
Butter - 75g
Salt - Just a pinch
Caster sugar - 25g
Instructions:
1) Add the butter into the flour.
2) Mix using hands until a crumble is form
3) Add salt, sugar and milk, and mix until a dough is formed. If using a Kitchen Aid, use the K Beater at slow speed.
4) Once a dough is form, shape into a rough oblong shape and 1 inch thickness.
5) Cut using a 6cm cutter. Do NOT cut and twist, just press the cutter down.
6) Bake at 20 minutes or until is golden brown at 180C.
7) Serve with clotted cream and jam. Enjoy.
