The treason and misprision of treason case against Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye, Hajji Obedi Lutale, and Captain Oola Denshi Oya has flopped due to the alleged poor health of Dr. Besigye.
Prison authorities requested a Zoom hearing, which the defence opposed, arguing it would violate the accused’s right to a fair trial. Court adjourned proceedings.
