Video 3. Hills, For me they are the foundation to all my training. Besides the mental and physiological benefits that you get from hill running, it also lets me test out how my body is. When I come away from a hill session feeling fine I know my body is going to handle the harder sessions on the road. It also makes running on the flat (Road) easier.
This weeks sessions were;
6x1 mile at LT off 120 sec float.
7.5 miles (42 minutes) at PB marathon pace.
155 minute (2:33) long run at easy to AT effort on hills, followed by 3x 85-100 second hill reps at Vo2 max effort. (3000+ feet elevation gain)
