Natekal to Montepadavu via Manjanady | Mangalore (Mangaluru) bike ride | Thodugoli | Mangalore roads

On this trip through Mangalore roads we travel from Natekal to Montepadavu via Manjanady. This video is on a happy occasion wherein Tour Mangaluru has reached the milestone of 700 subscribers. I thank you all for your support and love. Also, I'd like to wish you all a happy Eid Ul Fitr.

We start our journey along the Thokkottu - Mangalore university road and take a right turn at Natekal. Going along the University road instead will take you to Konaje and Mudipu.

We however proceed along the Natekal - Manjanady road. It may be noted that the road going to the right after crossing Natekal junction will take you to KC road.

The Natekal-Manjanady road that we pass through stretches along a sparsely populated area. The road is in a decent condition and is mostly bordered by wild trees and some coconuts. The area sees very less thoroughfare and has some small isolated commercial centers.

interestingly, the route has many area names that end with goli including Thodugoli, Daigoli, and Monthugoli. I, however, do not know the significance of these names or the persistence of the word goli in them.

This vlog gives information concerning the prominent landmarks along the Natekal-Manjanady road including Thokkottu - Konaje university road, Natekal Circle, Way to KC road, Natekal-Manjanady Road, Kalkatta, Ellyas Jumma Masjid Kalkatta, Vishnumoorthi Janardhana Devasthana Manjanady, Manjanady, Manjandy Gram Panchayath, Parthypady complex, Niringana Thodugoli, Bhukariya Masjid, Bhukaria Nagar and Montepadavu.

My ride is Bajaj CT 100. The video was shot on SJ CAM SJ 4000 and was edited using Powerdirector android. Video best viewed in 720p.
