I didn’t want to do this.
I hate talking into a camera.
I find myself cringe.
And yet — here I am.
After coming off my medication, I started noticing things I’d never fully seen before:
how my personality shifts depending on who I’m with,
how my nervous system reacts to people differently,
and how self-awareness isn’t calming — it’s destabilising.
This isn’t a polished story or a neat recovery arc.
It’s me, mid-unravelling, paying attention for the first time.
If you’ve ever felt like:
• your personality changes depending on who you’re around
• you don’t fully understand your emotions until after they happen
• trauma, neurodivergence, or masking has shaped how you exist
• self-awareness feels loud instead of peaceful
You’re not alone.
I’m Jayde James — and this is UNHINGED.
🎙️ New episodes exploring trauma, neurodivergence, identity, and the parts of being human we don’t usually say out loud.
