I’m Jayde James.
In this episode, I talk bluntly about emotional dysregulation — what it actually is, how it shows up in my body, and why I spent years thinking I was “too much” instead of understanding my nervous system.
This isn’t about being dramatic.
It’s about a nervous system that treats discomfort like danger.
I talk about:
• emotional reactions that don’t match the situation
• instant panic and delayed emotional crashes
• shutdown, numbness, and performance mode
• logic vs emotion (and why emotion wins)
• the shame and exhaustion that comes after
This is lived experience, not advice or therapy.
I’m naming what it feels like to live inside a dysregulated, neurodivergent nervous system — without sugar-coating it.
