Carrot Cake
Ingredients:
500 grams of carrots
6 eggs
160 grams of butter
300 grams of flour
200 grams of sugar
10 grams of baking powder
10 grams of poppy seeds
300-400 grams of walnuts
Orange zest
Cream:
200-300 grams of sour cream
Sugar to taste
Directions:
1. Peel and wash the carrots. Grate them coarsely. Let them sit, then squeeze out the juice. Grate the orange zest and add the carrots.
2. Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool slightly.
3. Chop the walnuts with a knife. 4. Add eggs, melted butter, sugar, baking powder, flour, poppy seeds, and walnuts to the carrots and zest, and mix thoroughly. The poppy seeds are optional.
5. Bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for 40-50 minutes, until done.
6. Let the pie cool slightly.
7. Stir in the sour cream and sugar.
8. Pour the sour cream over the sugar pie and garnish with walnuts. The pie is fragrant and delicious. Enjoy!
