On November 18, 2025, the Kevorkian Center hosted our first session of Archives in Dialogue, a new webinar series that explores the transnational intersections of archiving, community activism, and knowledge production across the MENA region and the United States.
This conversation brings together Elizabeth Barrett-Sullivan (Curator of Collections, Arab American Museum), Hiba Abid (Curator for Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, New York Public Library) and Akram Khater (Director, Khayrallah Center) to discuss how archives shape alternative histories and urban imaginaries of Arab American diasporas in New York and Michigan.
This event was moderated by our Faculty Fellow, Roxana Arăş.
