Alberobello, Matera and Pompei in our motorhome

This video we travel across the south of Italy visiting Alborobello with its Trulli houses and beginnings of Xmas market. Matera, an impressive mountainside village with some houses built into the rocks. Lots of narrow roads and lanes weaving their way up the hillsides.
We tried driving to Sorrento along the north coast of the Amalfi area and found it tough going in our large motorhome. Its doable but I can’t recommend it - quite stressful. Traffic was crazy and it was a quite time of year (December).
By far the highlight was Pompei. We parked in a campsite right across the road from the entrance to the ruins. We were also able to take our dog Bailee on lead too. If you have a small dog this is allowed - they need to be carried in some of the “houses” though or kept outside.
