The return of The Open 2025!
I vlogged this beauty just during the preparations of 2019, I can't wait to see the guys playing there again this year!

[original post] 2019 will mark the year that Royal Portrush hosts golf's most prestigious tournament again after 1951. But golf has been played here since 1888, featuring many Irish Open as well as Ladies British Open and Senior British Open.
The current design of the Dunluce Course (the current course record is held by local Rory McIlroy, his second home course) was built by famous Harry Colt in 1929 and remained pretty unchanged until today. For The Open, the course was carefully adjusted by Mackenzie & Ebert to meet modern golf's needs, adding some lenght, interesting difficulties and two completely new holes.
The result is a classic, challenging links course with some fantastic hospitality!
I had the honour vlogging the course in April 2019, as the preparations for the Open already started. So you will see some grandstands in the making and I had to play from mats, like even the members have to until after the tournament.
