Part 1 (of 2) - precarious dave has another adventure on Cameron McNeish's Scottish National Trail, with optional extras. A five day solo wild camping unsupported wilderness trip (Eat my #hashtags).
My route and those optional extras are explained in the film. River crossings are a bit of a feature in these films, and I talk far too much, mostly about sequestering my pack and what I've still got with me.
Filmed in May 2021 and (finally) edited in July 2022. there's quite a backlog.
I've used my own recordings of music: Walter Carroll's Ebb Tide from Sea Idylls, JS Bach's 1st prelude (book one of the "48"),my own "Glen Almond" and - in part 2 - only Joseph Horovitz's Out of Step.
I'd like to prepare a video on how I plan these trips, if that would be of interest - do say.
