This session at the BEA 2024 Solutions Summit centers on the solutions that lead to better outcomes for Black communities, with an emphasis on the importance of place. Panelists discuss strategies and policies that have been used in places where Black economic mobility has increased, as well as the role of social capital – defined particularly through the lens of meaningful relationships across economic divides – in determining outcomes.
