''දියවඩන මුල් ඇඳුම''
මුල් ඇඳුම කියන්නේ දැඩිමුණ්ඩ දෙවියන්ගේ නිල ඇඳුම කියල තමයි ඉතිහාස කතාවල සඳහන් වෙන්නෙ. රජවරුන්ගේ රාජ්‍ය පාලන කාලයේදී, රාජ්‍ය සභාවේ ඉහළ තනතුරු දරන නිලධාරීන්, අධිකාරම්,දිසාවේ, නිලමේ වරුන් ආදිය තම නිල ඇඳුම ලෙස මුල් ඇඳුමෙන් සැරසුනා.
පරම්පරා ගණනාවක් තිස්සේ මුල් ඇඳුම් නිර්මාණය සහ ඇන්දවීම රාජකාරිය වූ ජයරත්න පරපුර ගැන සහ ඔවුන්ගේ අද්දැකීම් ගැනයි මේ කතාකරන්න යන්නෙ.
දළදා වහන්සේගේ ගිහි භාරකාරත්වය හිමි, ප්‍රදීප් නිලංග දෑල දියවඩන නිලමේතුමාගේ මුල් ඇඳුම නිර්මාණය සහ ඇන්දවීම කරන්නෙත්, ජයරත්න පරපුරේ හය වන පුරුක වන පුබුදු සමීර ජයරත්න මහතා විසින්.

''The traditional attire of Diyawadana Nilame''
The traditional Sinhalese gent’s attire called ‘Mul enduma’, is believed to be the raiment of the
deity God Dhedimunda in historical narratives. During the reign of kings, high-ranking officials
in the Royal court, such as Adhikaram, Disawa, and Nilames, wore the 'Mul enduma' as their
official attire.
This video explores the Jayaratne family, who have traditionally undertaken the duty of designing
and dressing the 'Mul enduma' for many generations. Notably, the responsibility for designing and
dressing the 'Mul enduma' for the current Diyawadana Nilame, Mr. Pradeep Nilanga Dela, the lay
guardian of the Tooth Relic, has been entrusted to Mr. Pubudu Sameera, a sixth-generation member
of the said Jayaratne family.
