Ingredients:
For the Filling:
2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
2 tbsp each of almonds, cashews, and pistachios
1/2 cup grated dry coconut
1/2 cup sooji (semolina)
Mawa made from 1.5 liters of full cream milk
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp chironji
3/4 cup sugar
For the Dough:
500 grams maida (all-purpose flour)
1/2 cup ghee
3/4 cup water
For Sealing and Frying:
Flour water (a mixture of wheat flour and water for sealing edges)
1 liter oil for deep frying
Optional for leftover dough:
Salt and ajwain (carom seeds) to make namak pare
