The best Thai food anywhere is in the Greenland wilderness. Who knew? Thai food is actually very popular in Nuuk, Greenland. I think the distinctive herbs, and clean clear flavor profiles happen to be similar to traditional wild Greenlandic herbs. A dinner trip to Qooqqut Nuan is unlike anything anything else.
I came to Greenland to explore into Nuuk Fjord with just a backpack and fishing pole. Unfortunately my luggage and all my camping gear is still lost and the airline has no information. Fortunately, the Greenlandic people are amazing.
I don't think they knew I would have gone to Qooqqut, when they planned this day trip. The trip to Qooqqut was even better with friends and people who know the area and where and how to catch fish to take to the restaurant.
