In this video, We will get to know what is Clausius Clapeyron equation and how pressure and temperature are interdependent during reversible phase transformation.
Also, we will do some previous year questions based on the Clausius clapeyron equation which was asked in the CSIR NET exam or GATE exam.
we have already learned about the Ehrenfest classification of phase transition where Ehrenfest classified first order and second-order phase transitions.
For the first-order phase transition:
1) G is continuous
2) The first derivative of G is discontinuous
For the second-order phase transition:
1) G is continuous.
2) The first derivative of G is continuous.
3) The second derivative of G is discontinuous.
