Vlogging-ish : Kalamata, Greece

Located in southern Greece and holds one of the most important harbours in the country and in the Mediterranean seas, Kalamata is not only known for the olives but offers an amazing beach with its very clean and clear waters.

As this is the second largest populated city in the Peloponnese peninsula, Kalamata does have its international airport to welcome the locals home as well as international travellers. Although the city is also reachable by car or bus from all over the country. Travelling to Kalamata via land is no hassle as the peninsula has really good and accessible roads.

One can certainly enjoy the comfort of relaxing in the city may it be by the beaches or having a rendezvous at the city centre. The local scene consists of a wide choice of restaurants, bars and cafes that are mostly open till 1 am. As the city is very safe and well lit though out the night till dawn, one can also enjoy an evening stroll from the city centre to the marina and towards the Navarinou coast.

A very relaxing city as well as very friendly and welcoming locals, Kalamata should definitely be on your list of places to visit and stay when in Greece.
