Ancient Hunger Impossible Full Walkthrough - Kingdom Rush Alliance

In this video I will be playing through all the new levels coming into Kingdom Rush Alliance in the Ancient Hunger Update on Impossible mode. This is by far the hardest campaign in the game, and despite me making it look on the easier side, don`t let the stages fool you. Enemies such as the fliers and Wise Crocs can reck numerous strategies so focusing on Rangers is preferable. The Hydra mini-boss is also a serious thread that should be taken care of so barracks to stall it is a must. Since Sylvara cannot target flying enemies it made some of the stages harder than they should realistically be, so it`s best to opt for 2 ranged heroes. The final boss of the campaign - Abominor, can be quite a hussle to deal with due to his tower destruction mechanic which occurs on waves 3/5/7/9/11/13/15. The best strategy I try to go for is using 1-2 tier 4 towers up to wave 7 and sell all of them before he gets the chance to destroy them. By wave 9 you should fill all tower spots with tier 1 towers to negate the RNG as much as possible (feel free to sell the expensive tier 4 towers). The boss can be easily exploited as I showcased by perma-stalling him with Therien utilising a bug, or just simply spamming Demon Pit/Paladins. With that strategy you can even defeat him before he reaches the gates, so it`s not really neccesary to go that hard on him. In his final infernal phase he cannot be blocked and he will just slowly try to get to the exit, focus on high damaging single target towers.

Here are the 2 best tower loadouts:
Mobile F2P: Ballista, Demon Pit, Rocket Gunners, Arborean Emmisary + Royal Archers/Paladins
Steam (Premiums included): Necromancer, Grim Wraiths, Bog Hermit, Ballista, Rocket Gunners

Best hero loadouts:
F2P: Grimson + Nyru on all stages (Vesper instead of Grimson if you struggle with fliers)
Steam/P2W: All Dragons work, Therien/Onagro/Broden are also great choices
