This is the third SSM race of my first SCCA road racing event. Five SSM cars started all in pack and went through turn 1 together. The start was interesting because the green flag was slow to come out. Everyone was building speed in anticipation, and many of us in the back field then lifted (some broke) when it didn't come. Others stayed full throttle to good effect. Lesson learned. Really fun race!
