Reading 2102 Iron Horse Rambles - July 2nd, 2022

Last weekend, Duncan from ‪@MichiganRailProductions‬ and I ventured out east to chase Reading and Northern's Iron Horse Rambles, among other things. No diesel, beautiful scenery, and an open throttle provided some of the most impressive steam railroading I've ever seen. Leading the excursion was Reading 2102, a T1 that was recently restored to operation. The Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad regularly operates both freight and passenger trains across Pennsylvania. The excursion traversed about 60 miles of their system between Reading and Jim Thorpe, PA. Overall, the day went well. The crowds were big, but not the biggest I've seen. Chasing went better than what we originally planned for. Other than some camera malfunctions, I was satisfied with how everything turned out, and had a great time.
