Welcome to BL Kitchen! Learn to make soft, fluffy Idlis with spicy Sambar and tasty Chutney – a perfect South Indian breakfast at home.
Ingredients:
Idli:
• 1½ cups Chawal Aata
• 1 cup Suji
• 1 cup Dahi
• 1 tsp Egewine
• ½ tsp Baking Soda
Sambar:
• Kadi Patta
• 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
• Senjna Ke Patte
• 1 cup AerHar ki Daal
• Mixed Veg
• 3–4 tsp Amchur Powder
• 1 tsp Kashmiri Lal Mirch
• Salt to taste
Chutney:
• 100g Moongphali
• 1 cup Hara Dhaniya
• 4–5 Lehson ki Kaliyaan
• 2-inch Adrak
• ½ cup Nariyel
• 1–2 tsp Chini
• 3–4 Hari Mirch
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp Amchur Powder
How to Prepare:
1. Mix idli ingredients and steam until fluffy.
2. Cook dal, temper with spices, add veggies for Sambar.
3. Blend Chutney ingredients to a smooth paste.
Serve hot Idli with Sambar & Chutney!
