"In My Dreams" Commander Chakotay and Seven of Nine

Another tribute video to this highly overlooked and under-respected Star Trek couple. Upon hearing this song, I immediately thought of these two characters and how their relationship grew over the course of the series. Lyrics like "maybe it's cause your shirt is my favorite color" blended very well with the fact that Chakotay wore a red command uniform and Seven's favorite color happened to be red. Additionally, the song's title "in my dreams" is a perfect coincidence to how Seven dreamed and took part in holodeck fantasies with a hologram of Chakotay as she was too shy to express her love towards the real man. I have always said that this pairing was connected from the start as Chakotay was the one who broke Seven from the Borg Collective in "Scorpion" and from then on, little by little they grew closer to eachother. In the end, those dreams, like the lyrics say came true and the two fell in love; vowing to stay together no matter what.
