A gorgeous open stitch, perfect for the Spring and Summer. Think: blouse, handbags, curtains, etc.

////Instructions:
K= knit
P=purl
pass as p=pass stitch as if to purl
yo=yarn over
psso2= pass yarn over stitch over last 2 stitches
Repeat from * to
Use 2 sizes larger needles as what the yarn calls for.
This stitch is made with an odd number of stitches.
4 Row Stitch

Row 1.- K1, *yo, pass as p, k1, yo, psso2
Row 2.- P2, let go of the yarn over p1.
Row 3.- K2, yo, pass as p, k1, yo, psso2 k1
Row 4.- P3, let go of the yarn over, p2

You can use any worsted yarn: http://amzn.to/1Ykjso6. Just make sure you use about 2 sizes bigger needles than what the yarn calls for.
