The half chain stitch is a lacy-looking pattern. In this case, made with thick yarn and slightly bigger needles. Pretty cool looking and easy to make.
/////Materials:
-Worsted Yarn: http://amzn.to/1RTbpfI
-Needles: http://amzn.to/1SvVoK3
////Instructions:
Multiple of 2 + 1
I used #4 Worsted yarn and #8 US knitting needles.
K=knit
P=purl
p2tog=purl 2 stitches together
yo= yarn over needle
Repeat from * to
I casted on 21 stitches (Multiple of 2 plus 1)
1.-k1 *p2tog k2
2.-k1 p1, yo p1, k1.
3.-k1 k1 through back, knit 1 (the yarn overs) through front
4.-k1 purl k1
