Here is the full version of the Villiers MK25/C25 engine. Grab some popcorn!
I still have to fit the fuel tank, waiting for parts to arrive. I will make a small video about it.
I had this one lying around for a while, and it is finally time to attempt to give it some life. The carburetor is already finished.
The Villiers C25 is a specific variant of a four-stroke, 250cc engine introduced by Villiers Engineering Co Ltd in 1941 as the Mk25. It featured a side-valve design and produced about 3 horsepower. The "C" in C25 likely denotes its engine type or capacity, a common practice for Villiers. It was also made in India and Australia under the C28 name. The engine was widely used for industrial applications, such as in lawnmowers, though its exact lifespan and significance are detailed in Villiers Engineering Co's extensive history of engine production.
Key details of the Villiers C25:
Engine Type: Four-stroke, side-valve engine.
Capacity: 250cc.
Power Output: Approximately 3 bhp.
Introduction: Introduced in 1941 as the Mk25.
Variations: Also known as the C28 in India and Australia.
Applications: Used in industrial equipment like lawnmowers, as well as potentially in other Villiers applications.
