Nagar district has hard and well-known forts like Alang, Madan, Kulang, Harishchandra, as well as smaller and unknown forts like Manjarsubha. This beautiful fort called Manjarsubha is located just 20 km from the city. The fort was built to protect the Wambori ghat passing below the fort. On the hills near this fort there is a bath of Sitamai and a temple of Gorakshanatha. While staying in the city, one can visit Manjarsubha Fort along with City Fort, Rangada Museum, Salabat Khan's Tomb (Chandbibi Mahal) and Hatti Barav.
