Join me in this tension relieving and strengthening 15 min full body flexibility and mobility routine. This is an effective stretch routine is great for all levels. Follow along with me as we go through different flexibility and mobility exercises to help strengthen, improve overall athletic performance, aid in muscle recovery and much more. In this video we will be going through 23 different stretching and mobility exercises
Flexibility or static stretching is a form of stretching in which you focus on getting in a particular position and holding it for a set time. You essentially allow gravity to take control or a partner push onto you and you passively hold the set position. Anywhere from 15 to 45 seconds is great for holding your stretched position. However, 60 seconds is also great for those really tight area. Stretching regularly is great for improving blood flow throughout the body in which will help with muscle recovery, performance and studies even show it will help with the aging process.
Mobility training is when you take that joint through a full range of motion but without the use of a external force. So it's more of an active movement. Mobility will build strength, flexibility and make the joint move a lot smoother. Motion is lotion! So we will be focusing on these different attributes for today's routine.
