FLANK STEAK with delicious Creamy Ricotta and Peppers & Onions.

Recipe & Ingredients Below:
Ingredients:
lb. Flank Steak, trimmed
1 cup Yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 cup Yellow Peppers, thinly sliced
1 tsp. crushed Red Chili Flake
1 tsp. Oregano, dried
1 cup Tomato Sauce or Marinara
1/2 cup Ricotta
Fresh Parsley, leaves, for garnish
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper
Method:
1. In a large non-stick pan on medium high heat, drizzle in olive oil. Season steak with salt and pepper on both sides, then place carefully into the pan. Sear on 1 side for 3-4 minutes to develop crust.
2. In a pot on medium high heat, drizzle of olive oil, and add next 4 ingredients. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 6-7 minutes until slightly softened. Add tomato sauce, reduce temperature to low and cook for another 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning.
3. Allow steak to rest before slicing against the grain. Shingle slices, scoop portions of pepper sauce, fresh ricotta, and fresh parsley all on top.
