We are born into a world in which our identity, meaning, thinking and being are created by our community. Yet as individuals, we have the opportunity to authentically claim and appropriate that which has been given to us. In a paradoxical movement, we can transcend our communal heritage even while depending entirely upon it. In this moment of authenticity, we belong not only to ourselves but also to our tribe and community; we are free for life and free for death, living into a possibility which we can inherit and still yet chose.
This cyr wheel act is about journey to authentic self and embodies the philosophy of Martin Heidegger, Father of Existentialism.
