The Apostle Paul concludes Romans 4 by stating the kerygma—Jesus Christ our Lord died and was raised for our justification—being made right with God. This rectification, or "rightly relating" to God, consists in trusting Him through Jesus. And this opens up a whole new life of "peace with God" and access to Him. As we will see in our next reading group, Romans 5:1–5 provides a sketch of the next four chapters (chs. 5–8).
