Supporting economic growth is a key benefit of our road schemes. Our M3 J9 project is an example of this. The Rt Hon. Heidi Alexander MP, Secretary of State for Transport visited the scheme. She was welcomed by our Chief Executive Nick Harris, members of our project team and contractor VolkerFitzpatrick.
Did you know that the junction is an important interchange, connecting the ports of Southampton and Portsmouth to the wider region? This scheme will improve safety, journey times and air quality in the area. It will also offer a range of environmental benefits.
