There are so many types of Broadway musicals that there's no one way to sing musical theatre. We'll go over some of the major forms in this video series, but know that we're just scratching the surface.

Legit musical theatre is the type of singing most commonly heard in Golden Age musicals, like Rogers and Hammerstein, and it's the type of musical theatre singing closest to classical.

In this video you'll learn some of the most important vocal techniques for developing your legit Broadway voice, including ones that'll help you achieve register balance, brightness, vibrato, and soft palate lift.

You'll also learn vocal exercises to help you reach your musical theatre goals.
