Affirmations are not enough if your nervous system does not feel safe. You can repeat positive statements all day long, yet if your body is still braced for impact, those words won't magically become your truth.
In this episode of the You’re Not the Problem podcast, I share why that happens and how to work with affirmations in a way that actually supports real change.
We will look at the hidden stories that shape your self talk, how those stories formed as brilliant adaptations to your past, and why your body often resists “positive thinking” that feels miles away from your lived experience. You will learn how to choose affirmations that your system can believe, how to move step by step from survival stories to more expansive ones, and how to bring your body into the process instead of trying to change your thoughts in your head alone.
