The Walking Code presents my top 10 walking tips that can help you learn to walk properly and move without pain. The first tips are for proper posture. The head should be elevated. The eyes should gaze forward. The shoulders should not hunch or roll forward. The hands should face the side of the thighs, not the front. The pelvis should be in a neutral position. The feet should face straight forward. When we walk we should feel more like pulling and gliding than pushing and falling. The heel should place first, in a controlled fashion. In reality, walking involves the whole body, including the core. The movement of your core tells your body where to go and how to do it. If your core doesn't move correctly, it can result in problems with they way you walk, like looking down, pitching forward, walking with duck feet and more. The tips in this video can help you do a quick check to see if you are walking properly. This is just the beginning. Walking is no different from a dance. It takes technique, consciousness, and practice.
