Deputy chief of European Union Kaja Kallas has revealed that Brussels is urging India to step in and pressure Russia, as Europe struggles to shape the course of the Ukraine war. With the conflict grinding on and costs mounting at home, European leaders appear increasingly anxious about their limited leverage over Moscow. Calling the war “not good for Europe,” Kallas confirmed that Indian officials have been asked to raise the issue directly with Russian counterparts.
