Timber Trail, Parwanoo was our next destination in Himachal Pradesh after Barog and Barog Railway Station.
Located in the Parwanoo district in Himachal Pradesh, Timber Trail was our starting point for a cable car ride up the hill to Moksha resort located at a height of 5000 feet.
After reaching Timber Trail, we straightaway headed for the cable car ticket counter. We had to wait for about 10 minutes before the next cable car was ready for departure. It was a 10 minute cable car ride at a gentle speed before we reached the hill top where Moksha resort is located.
The scenic beauty of the place from a height of 5000 feet was simply amazing. We were beholden to that stunning natural beauty for quite some time .We kept moving from one point on the sprawling terrace to another to absorb the breath-taking beauty of the surrounding landscape.
And then we turned out attention towards the Moksha resort. It was definitely very well laid out and huge for organising corporate conferences etc and also for stay arrangements of senior executives visiting the resort. Obviously only some parts of the resort were open for us to visit. But even that was quite grand and spectacular.
While riding cable car again for our downward journey back to Timber Trail, we had a second look at the sheer beauty of hills around.
A worthwhile visit to a marvellous facility!
