I took a trip back home to the West Coast this spring and while I was there I cooked a 4-course birthday meal for my family. Join me in my parents' garden to harvest as many things as possible and see the many local, seasonal ingredients I used, such as spot prawns & morel mushrooms. This garden was largely built during the covid lockdowns. We would take long walks to the beach, shlepping driftwood back to my parent's house to create the beautiful & very loved garden you see in this video.
