December 6th, 2025. This 2001-SRNB I recorded replaced a 1952 Jailbar Thunderbolt 1000 that served Mount Clemens and Macomb County, MI for 51 years. I will always remember the Thunderbolt 1000. It was my childhood siren and was in service from 1952-2003. The 2001-SRNB was installed as a replacement siren for the Thunderbolt 1000 and is still going strong to this day. It's test was a great success.
