After enduring 3 hard stages at altitude, the last stage was up. Andorra Epic is a 4-stage team-based (duo) mountain bike race, part of the Epic Series (the same as the Cape Epic).
The fourth and last stage begins in Naturland. Naturland is a park up in the mountains, spanning a huge footprint from 1600m to 2000m. The stage begins with a quick 4 km road climb right into singletrack. One thing was evident: everybody was tired. As soon as the singletrack came up, everybody was walking up a relatively easy trail. Fortunately, there was not a lot of climbing on this stage. After a very long downhill of multiple kilometers, we got back to the very bottom of Andorra at Sant Julia to ride up through Andorra La Vella and get to the finish line in La Massana.
