This is the second part of a two part series where I'm checking out the vast trail network of Parc Régional de la Rivière Gentilly. This trail network is very unique in that it bobs and weaves throughout various types of old growth forest with some sections dipping down the steep river bank walls, into the river valley below. Expect lot's of twists and turns, punchy climbs, lush fern beds, cozy river views and a whole lot more.

Trail 25 (Keystone):
8.3/10
This is a Keystone trail, it's smoother and less rooty than the others and it dips down with a long section along the river, punctuated by a river bed area in the middle. This trail is a must do.

Trail 26 (Keystone):
7/10
This is a fairly long and winding trail, similar to the 24. There is an intermediate side loop (26A) that dips down along the river that is a must do, it ends in a long gravel road climb back up to the rest of the 26. The last section of the 26 is very long, winding and rooty and gets a little boring (points lost). Personally I'd skip it, go straight on the gravel road back to the main road.
