Fiona Art Magic Wand Pour

I'm using a 24x36 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artist Loft.
I'm using Mix Pour as my pouring medium.. you can order your own Mix Pour by emailing Krista at Krista8974@gmail.com
The 'Magic Wand' I'm using is an extension piece for a pool cleaning net.
The basecoat I am using is Artist Loft Flow Acrylic in Black.
My paint is thicker than Nate's was, and I put down a runway of the Ore that I put the magic wand into.
I layer my cups carefully down the side and pour two Straight Pours onto the magic wand 🪄..
After a few minutes to let the paint drip off the wand, I lift it up and out of the paint. That creates this very pretty line down the middle of the pour that I really like.
*******TIPSY PIGGY RECIPE*********
Step 1. Disperse the pigments in a little bit of alcohol. I used 99.5% alcohol because that is what I had. The higher the percentage alcohol, the less water there is in it. I have not tried 70% alcohol but I will. The most important part of this is not to use too much alcohol. Use just enough to wet the pigments. It should look like a slurry, with a little bit of liquid on top. I used about 1 and a half teaspoons of alcohol and about 3/4 of a teaspoon of pigments. This was enough for about 6 ounces of mixed paint.
Step 2. I used Mix Pour as my pouring medium. I love Mix Pour because of the thicker consistency and the fact that it dries completely clear and shiny. I added about 6 ounces of Mix to my alcohol pigment mixture and stirred. Ready to pour with! Its that easy!
