760 NEWS TV - ON SCENE Car Fire in Coachella and Structure Fire in Indio

At 1:06am Fire Crews responded to a report of a Vehicle Fire on Fillmore Ave in the rural area of Coachella Ca. Upon arrival, the vehicle in question was fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames and the Riverside County Sheriffs arrived to investigate. No injuries were reported and the fire and vehicle (sedan) incident are still under investigation.

At 1:12am Fire crews responded to a report of a structure at the Parkwood Apartments in the city of Indio. Upon arrival at the scene, they encountered an uncooperative occupant at the complex in which fire crews hand to control him while Indio police arrived on the scene. As our new crew arrived on the scene, no flames or smoke was visible from the complex. The fire crew did appear to be working on several apartment units. No word yet on the circumstances of the incidents or of any arrests made at this time.
