Playing with spacers and chain ring alignment to make the modern SLX crank set and 11x rear cassette work with a 00' Gary Fisher frame. Managed a 47mm chainline with a crank set designed for 55mm.
Honestly don't know much about bikes, but I'm learning a lot as I go! Thankfully not wasting money on parts I can't use at all, though it would be smarter to purchase parts that will fit and function as intended
