Wat Tham Khuha Sawan, a temple built in the Ayutthaya period that became the first royal temple in the province. The temple's name, Khuha Sawan, translates to "heavenly cave" and refers to the prominent cave at the foot of Khao Khuha Sawan mountain. The cave is notable for its religious significance, housing reclining and sitting Buddha statues, and for the royal initials carved into its walls by visiting kings.
The Temple and cave are a easy walk from the train station. Best to arrive early in the day to avoid the heat. Advise you take a flashlight into the cave.
Be sure to wear appropriate clothing while visiting the temple and cave.
