Route 418 Running Day

The Heritage Bus Running Day on former London Country Routes 418 & 481 in Surrey & South West London. Organised by the London Bus Museum on Sunday 8th June 2025.

Featuring classic London buses running from 1940s to 2000s. A lot of buses include RTs, Routemasters, RFs, Nationals and a few Modern Buses.

First London Route 418 nowadays runs from Kingston to Epsom via Surbiton, Tolworth and West Ewell. And the former London Country Route 418 continues to Ashtead, Leatherhead and Great Bookham. I’ll be featuring buses at Epsom, West Ewell, Kingston, Ashtead and Leatherhead.

London Bus Museum’s Repainted XF3 was also on display at Epsom Clock Tower. A Guy Special and a Greenline RF was also running on 481 to Epsom Wells. Most modern buses included an ex-Quality Line DD02 Enviro400 which is now Chaseside 204. Also seen is an ex-RATP London Mercedes-Benz Citaro owned by the Replacement Bus Hire.
