Athletic Based Training Program Day 2 focuses on Lower Body Strength & Conditioning combined with SAQ- Speed Agility Quickness. During the strength training if you do not have chains you can use bands, or just do the exercises without.
If you are just getting started it would be a good idea to decrease the amount of sets. Start with 2 sets of each exercise and progress from there. For younger athletes that are not yet in high school, I recommend starting with just the SAQ Training. That will focus on overall movement, which is most important for a young athlete.
Chain Squats 4x6-8 SS1/BB RDL 4x6-8 SS2
Trapbar Deadlift 4x6-8 SS1/Machine Leg Curl 4x6-8 SS2
BB Alt Leg Step Up 4x8 Each Leg TS1/Glute Ham Raise 4x10 w/10 sec hold TS2/Band Power Lateral Step 4x10 yards each way TS3
SAQ- Training 1 minute recovery
Cone Lateral Shuffle 4x20sec
Ladder Drills 2x Each
4 Cone Drill 4x Each Side
