In the movement arts, I learned pretty quickly that what I ate directly affected my performance and cognition. As both a nutrition coach and an aerialist/athlete, I get asked a lot for meal ideas. I thought giving you a glimpse of what I eat in a week would be the best way to provide inspiration or even comfort. I focus my meals around my daily energy needs, using whole foods as much as possible. I rely on others for food, so I'm not always eating what I would be if I had complete control over what I eat. I had to heal my relationship with food to eat guilt-free and enjoy what is available to me, or simply indulging in something I love. I've been focusing on Intuitive eating with no restriction. My main goal is to mindfully choose healthy meals as frequently and as much as I feel compelled to, but also enjoy myself when eating something that most people would not define as "healthy."
