I performed in New York City in July 2025, as part of the International Keyboard Institute and Festival, and I am so excited to share with you one of the greatest sets of pieces in my entire repertoire: Schubert's Six Moments Musicaux D780 Op. 94.
From the first to the last, they are lieder for the piano solo and they are amongst the clearest, minimalistic, pieces of Schubert. Each piece packs the widest range of pictures, feelings, actions, thoughts that one could ever imagine in such a small space. These works have accompanied me throughout my teenage years and will continue to grow on me my entire life.
