How to build a mountain bike? This video show me building my new 2015 Transition TransAm 29" hardtail bike. This build targets to be no-nonsense style quality build.
For MY 2915 Transition renewed their HT frame with very interesting geometry and options for 29" and 27.5" wheel sizes. I selected 29" as it has non compromising geometry and wagon wheels seem to have a benefits in ht frames. Short chainstays and relatively slack head angle with long front center makes this bike handle nicely when pointing it to fast trails. At the same time geometry is still traditional enough, so that it has good manners in slow speed tight corners. A great alrounder. Makes me wonder, do I need full suspension bike at all.
And no, this video does not show any Pontiac Firebird TransAm. No burnout neither. No drag racing. Sorry. This is a bike build video.
